Together with our Partner, an American fitness equipment manufacturer, we are looking for an experienced person to provide services as an SAP SD Consultant.

The project involves the configuration, support, and development of the Sales & Distribution module in a production environment, with a direct impact on sales processes, invoicing, and credit management.

Daily tasks

• Gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into functional solutions and SD configuration, including preparing specifications for technical teams (ABAP, integrations, delivery).
• Designing and evaluating SD solutions for new and changing business processes, including direct-to-consumer, wholesale, and subscription channels.
• Ensuring SD integration with MM, PP, and FI/CO, including participation in integration tests and reconciling data between SD documents and FI postings.
• Configuring and maintaining key SD processes: order management, pricing, availability, shipping/delivery, billing, and credit management.
• Creating and executing test scripts, maintaining configuration documentation, and training key users on SD processes.
• Diagnosing and resolving production issues, from ticket analysis to root cause identification and implementing a permanent solution.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of practical experience in SAP SD configuration, including participation in at least one full implementation and major enhancement projects, as well as production support.
• Solid knowledge of SD integration with MM, PP, and FI/CO modules, including experience in diagnosing problems that cross module boundaries.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP SD processes: pricing, order management, billing, credit management, and shipping/delivery processing.
• Experience in gathering requirements from business stakeholders and translating them into functional specifications and configuration.
• Very good knowledge of English (min. C1).

Nice to have:

• Experience in the consumer goods, retail, or DTC/subscription model industry, where order channels and pricing rules vary depending on the customer type.
• Experience working in an AMS, nearshore, or offshore model and knowledge of the principles of handing over requirements to a distributed delivery team.
• Knowledge of subscription recurring order models and their flow to billing and revenue recognition.
• Possession of an SAP SD certificate.
