Together with our Business Partner, a global leader in the field of next-generation telecommunications network solutions, we are looking for an experienced specialist to provide services as a Python Software Developer. The project involves creating cloud-native software for large-scale telecommunications networks (5G and subsequent generations) - including applications for network data analysis, RAN optimization, anomaly detection, and automatic network configuration.

MODE OF COOPERATION

The project is implemented in a hybrid mode in Kraków or Warsaw (approximately 2 days per week from the office). Cooperation with international engineering teams, system engineers, data scientists, and telecommunications experts.

Rate: 150-180/h

Daily tasks

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining production microservices and REST API in Python, supporting advanced enterprise-class network solutions.
  • Processing and analyzing configuration, performance, and telemetry data of telecommunications networks to deliver valuable analytical results.
  • Creating unit, integration, and system tests to ensure high quality of the delivered software.
  • Diagnosing and resolving application problems in Linux and Kubernetes environments.
  • Evaluating new technologies and participating in research and proof-of-concept activities for network solutions.
  • Independent selection of methods and work tools adequate for the realization of individual stages of the service, with effective use of AI-assisted development tools.

Requirements

Advanced knowledge of modern Python 3 in production environments. Documented experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining production-quality software. Practical knowledge of automated testing using pytest, unittest, or similar tools. Experience in software development in Linux environments. Knowledge of containerization, Docker, and Kubernetes basics. Experience in creating microservices or web API. Knowledge of relational databases. Ability to critically evaluate the output of AI tools and use them effectively in daily engineering work. Good command of English in speaking and writing.

Nice to have:

Experience in software development for telecommunications systems (4G/5G RAN). Operational experience or application troubleshooting in Kubernetes, knowledge of Kubernetes networking, ingress, storage, and security. Experience with message brokers or event-driven architecture. Knowledge of public or private cloud platforms. Experience with data analysis, machine learning, or AI-assisted network optimization. Knowledge of Helm, Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.
