AI Developer

Together with our Business Partner, a leader in the insurance industry in Poland, we are looking for an experienced specialist to implement projects as an AI Engineer. The project involves building a modern, data-driven ecosystem for claims and benefits handling, based on automation, AI, and workflow processes – one of the most important development programs in the company's history.

Daily tasks

• Designing, tuning, and implementing advanced AI/ML models and GenAI solutions using Azure AI Foundry and Azure Machine Learning.
• Building and optimizing MLOps/LLMOps processes using Azure ML, MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD systems.
• Implementing advanced RAG solutions using Azure AI Search and working with the latest LLM models in Azure OpenAI.
• Ensuring the compliance of AI solutions with AI Governance and AI Act requirements, including preparing technical documentation and monitoring models.
• Presenting work results and supporting business and IT teams in the implementation and adoption of AI solutions.
• Integrating AI solutions with the new ecosystem of claims handling systems.

Requirements

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an AI Engineer, AI Developer, or similar role, including at least 1 year of experience in production deployments.
• Experience in designing and implementing GenAI solutions, LLM models, AI agents, and orchestration of AI-based processes.
• Practical experience in building and maintaining MLOps/LLMOps processes using Azure Machine Learning, MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools.
• Experience working with LLM models, RAG solutions, prompt engineering techniques, and evaluating the quality of generated responses.
• Experience working with the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, particularly services supporting the construction of AI and GenAI solutions.
• Experience in integrating AI solutions with business systems using REST API, asynchronous communication, and integration platforms.
• Practical knowledge of source code management tools, particularly Git, Azure DevOps, or GitHub.
• Higher technical education (computer science, mathematics, science, engineering, or related fields).
• English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level.
• Proficiency in Python.

Nice to have:

• Understanding of AI Governance requirements and the AI Act.
• Azure certifications: Data Scientist (DP-100), AI Engineer (AI-102), AI Fundamentals (AI-900).
• Knowledge of the insurance industry and the specifics of business processes.
