HSE Officer

Key Responsibilities

• PermittoWork(PTW): Manage and secure daily permits for airport restricted areas, hot works, and working at heights.
• Scaffolding Supervision: Inspect and sign off on scaffolding erection, modifications, and dismantling.
• Enforce the scaffold tagging system.
• Waterproofing Safety: Monitor hazards related to waterproofing membranes, surface preparation, chemical handling, and fumes.
• Site Inspections: Conduct daily safety walks of the car park and canteen roof work zones to ensure 100% compliance with Dubai Airport safety regulations.
• Toolbox Talks: Lead daily safety briefings focusing on fall protection, harness use, and airport emergency protocols.
• RAMSEnforcement: Ensure all activities strictly follow the approved Risk Assessments and Method Statements

Candidate Profile & Requirements

• Certification: NEBOSH IGC (Mandatory)
• Education: Any Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering is not mandatory)

Experience: 1.Proven experience supervising scaffolding erection/dismantling and waterproofing works. 2.Prior experience working on projects within Dubai Airport or highly secured aviation environments is highly preferred.

• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of fall arrest systems, working-at-height regulations, and

chemical safety (MSDS).

• Communication: Fluent in English with the ability to clearly communicate safety protocols to

multicultural site crews
