Pricing Manager
Your tasks
- Develop and implement pricing strategies aligned with business objectives, market conditions, and customer requirements.
- Analyze competitor pricing, market trends, service costs, and sales performance to identify opportunities for revenue and margin improvement.
- Build and review pricing models and rate structures across logistics service offerings.
- Work closely with Sales to prepare competitive quotations and pricing proposals, and support commercial negotiations.
- Partner with Finance and Operations to assess service costs, benchmark rates, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor pricing effectiveness and adjust rates to balance competitiveness, revenue targets, and profitability.
- Maintain accurate pricing databases, tools, policies, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with pricing guidelines and internal controls, and address pricing-related audit findings.
- Coordinate with local, regional, and global teams, as well as customers, suppliers, and service providers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 6–10 years of experience in pricing management, revenue management, or related roles within freight forwarding or logistics.
- In-depth understanding of freight forwarding pricing strategies, models, and methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills and financial acumen, particularly in cost analysis, pricing evaluation, and margin optimization.
- Proficiency in pricing tools and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Good written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and influencing skills.
- Strategic mindset, attention to detail, and a high standard of professional integrity.
