Field Service Engineer (Inverter & ESS)

1. Job Objective
Directly responsible for providing technical support, on-site troubleshooting, warranty execution, and component replacement for Deye's solar/hybrid inverters and battery energy storage systems (BESS) in the Vietnam market.
2. Key Responsibilities
- On-site Troubleshooting: Travel directly to projects, power stations, or customer facilities to inspect, diagnose, and resolve issues related to inverters and battery storage systems.
- Warranty & Component Replacement: Perform disassembly and replacement of faulty circuit boards or hardware components, update firmware, and configure data loggers/monitoring devices according to Deye's standard procedures.
- Testing & Commissioning Support: Collaborate with EPC partners and customers to set parameters, configure grid settings, and safely bring the system into actual operation.
- Technical Reporting: Collect operational data from the system (log files), record the root causes of issues, and prepare detailed Field Service Reports after each site visit.
- R&D Coordination: Escalate complex technical issues and abnormal errors to the support center or headquarters to find thorough solutions.
- Technical Training: Guide the technical teams of distributors and dealers on how to use, maintain, and troubleshoot basic errors on Deye equipment.
3. Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's/Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, Renewable Energy, or related fields.
- Experience: 1-2 years of practical experience working with solar power systems or energy storage systems (ESS).
- Expertise: Solid understanding of inverter operating principles (especially Hybrid Inverters) and Lithium battery storage technology. Clear understanding of electrical safety standards.
- Skills: Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specialized English documents. Good communication and customer problem-solving skills.
- Job Specifics: Good health, willingness to travel frequently to project sites across the country (such as Hanoi, Da Nang, or the Mekong Delta) to provide timely on-site support.
