Our expertise covers technology, machinery, equipment, supplies and electroplating chemicals in the Indochina region. We are currently recruiting for the position of Supply Chain Supervisor to support the company. Below are the details of the position: A. JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Planning & Inventory Management
- Develop and monitor monthly/weekly purchasing and supply plans based on sales forecasts, inventory levels and business requirements.
- Coordinate with Sales, Service and relevant departments to update demand forecasts and adjust supply plans accordingly.
- Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, stock aging and slow-moving/obsolete items; propose appropriate actions to optimize inventory.
- Track purchase orders and supplier lead times to ensure materials and products are available on schedule.
- Prepare planning, inventory and supply chain performance reports for management.
- Logistics Management
- Coordinate the end-to-end logistics process from order confirmation, shipment booking, transportation and customs clearance to delivery to company/customer warehouses.
- Work with freight forwarders, carriers and suppliers to arrange import/export shipments and ensure on-time delivery.
- Monitor logistics costs, lead time and service quality; identify issues and propose improvement solutions.
- Coordinate with Warehouse, Sales, Accounting and suppliers to resolve delivery, inventory and shipment discrepancies.
- Monitor inbound/outbound shipments and proactively handle delays or unexpected issues.
- Import–Export & Customs
- Coordinate import/export documentation and customs clearance activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Review and control commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading/air waybills, certificates of origin and other relevant documents.
- Coordinate with customs brokers and relevant departments on HS Codes, import duties, customs declarations and shipment issues.
- Follow up on goods subject to specific regulatory requirements and ensure complete documentation.
- Maintain and update import-export records, shipment data and related reports.
- Process Improvement & Cross-functional Coordination
- Standardize and improve processes related to planning, logistics, inventory and import–export operations.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to improve supply chain efficiency and service quality.
- Participate in ERP/Odoo-related process improvement and data standardization projects.
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of relevant supply chain/logistics staff when required.
B. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Import-Export, International Business, Business Administration, Economics or related fields.
- 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Planning or Import-Export, preferably in Trading, Distribution, Manufacturing or companies with imported products.
- Strong hands-on experience in Demand/Supply Planning, Inventory Control and Logistics coordination.
- Good knowledge of Import-Export procedures, Customs regulations, HS Codes and international logistics.
- Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers and overseas suppliers.
- Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP/Odoo is an advantage.
- Good analytical, planning, problem-solving and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Intermediate English or above, able to communicate and work with overseas suppliers/partners.
- Proactive, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple shipments/orders simultaneously.
