GL Accountant

As a Senior GL Accountant, you will take on a key role within the finance team:

• Responsible for the general accounting, including monthly and year-end closings and audit preparation
• Management of fixed assets, depreciation, provisions, and payroll entries
• Preparing and submitting VAT, intrastat, and statistical returns
• Support with tax obligations (including corporate income tax)
• Identifying tax opportunities and formulating improvement proposals
• Monitoring tax legislation and translating it into practice
• Active contribution to process optimization projects within finance

Must haves

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accountancy, taxation, or another economic field
• At least 3 years of relevant experience
• Thorough knowledge of VAT and a strong interest in taxation
• Strongly analytical, accurate and proactive
• You take responsibility and work smoothly within a team

Nice to haves

• Experience in an international or manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
• Affinity with process improvement and optimization
