Tax Analyst - Tax Accountant

Do you have experience in taxes and want to be part of a dynamic and growing company?

At J&T Express Costa Rica, we are looking for a Tax Analyst who will be responsible for ensuring correct compliance with tax obligations and contributing to the strengthening of our fiscal management.

What are we looking for?

• Professional in Public Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• +3 years of experience in tax areas, audit/accounting firms, or business groups.
• Intermediate English.
• Solid knowledge of Costa Rican tax regulations: Renta, IVA, and Retenciones.
• Experience in the settlement and filing of declarations before TRIBU-CR.
• Experience in the preparation of informative declarations (D-150 or others).
• Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
• High capacity for analysis, organization, and teamwork.
• Desirable experience in ERP.

Main responsibilities

• Prepare and file monthly and annual declarations of IVA, Renta, and Retenciones.
• Perform fiscal and accounting reconciliations.
• Follow up on the tax calendar and partial payments.
• Attend to requirements from the Administración Tributaria.
• Provide support in internal and external audits.
• Identify fiscal risks and propose improvements in tax processes and controls.
