*Concord Confections,* the manufacturer of Dubble Bubble gum and other fine candy products, has an immediate opening for a full-time *Forklift Operator / Shipper / Receiver.*

*Responsibilities*

• Physically move pallets of WIP, finished goods and packaging materials safely and efficiently.
• Perform a physical inspection of trailer prior to loading and the completion of the inspection form.
• Responsible for the integrity and document control for shipping and receiving.
• Use of the Warehouse Management System (WMS) software by RF scanning to capture inventory moves withing the Company.
• Order picking and staging.
• Understand safe material movement techniques to ensure stacked pallets, empty trays and packaging materials are transported safely.
• Support production as required by helping palletize finished goods, packaging or general assistance.
• Ensure lot coding for traceability is performed to procedure.
• Assist in the movement of equipment or any other heavy devices should the forklift be required.
• Safely operate a forklift in a congested work space, understanding the movement of staff and other forklifts.
• Ensuring the work area is clean and tidy.

*Knowledge / Skills / Abilities*

• A valid forklift certificate is required to operate both propane adn battery powered counterbalance forklifts.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Ability to work with RF scanning.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Knowledge in the use of automated pallet wrapping equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
