About the company
At Cona Consultores, we are looking for an AR Accountant to join the team of a major multinational telecommunications company located in Retiro, CABA.
Your tasks
- Evaluate accounts receivable balances for regional and corporate clients, and prepare annual/semi-annual accounts receivable plans.
- Execute accounts receivable reconciliation, analyze reconciliation statements, evaluate and manage discrepancies to ensure the authenticity and reliability of the company's accounts receivable assets.
- Analyze and evaluate accounts receivable events through system monitoring models or manual ones, such as billing timelines, billing amounts, credit billing, and impairment of accounts receivable.
- In new or immature situations, ensure that process documentation is complete and filed, helping to develop, implement, and maintain desktop procedures (DPs) and accounting controls for revenue accounting activities.
- Internally assist the business group in compliance with operations and procedures with a focus on continuous improvement; and externally, communicate with auditors regarding the internal control system and prepare evidence for the annual audit.
- Provide other services, such as reports and internal transaction data for representative office, finance, and risk management teams, among others, related to costs, revenue, or reasonable requirements.
Requirements
- Graduates or soon-to-be graduates in Contador Público, Administración de Empresas, or related careers (mandatory).
- Advanced English (mandatory).
- Minimum 1 year of work experience related to accounting (mandatory).
- Good skills in Excel, especially in advanced financial modeling and analytical techniques.
- Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
