Junior Java Developer

For a well-known and established company within mobility and passenger transport in Stockholm, we are now looking for a junior Java developer who wants to grow together with an experienced team and work with digital solutions used in a mission-critical environment.

The company has high ambitions regarding its digital services and works continuously to develop solutions for both customers and other users of the platform.

The development team is passionate about creating modern, stable, and user-friendly solutions. The team consists of developers, UX/UI designers, and testers who work together in a modern development environment with current technologies and tools.

About the role

The technical stack is based on Java in combination with modern frameworks and tools. CI/CD and DevOps are also priority areas.

In the role, you will work together with competent and experienced colleagues to develop a scalable and modern technical platform. The team works agilely, and the development role is broader than just writing code. We value that you see the big picture and, when necessary, participate in capturing and clarifying requirements during the development process.

We are looking for you who are at the beginning of your career and want to develop as a Java developer while working with interesting technical challenges in a pleasant and well-functioning team.

We believe you have the following qualifications

• Knowledge of Java, microservices, REST, and Spring MVC
• Experience with Maven and Google Cloud Platform is a merit
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Jenkins, and DevOps is a merit
• Fluent English in speaking and writing
• Interest in the entire development process, from requirements gathering to a finished solution
• Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent education
