As European Chief Technologist (m/f/d) in our Solution Area Datacenter, you will define the strategic direction for one or more technology areas. In doing so, you will contribute to ensuring that our portfolio, alignment with our partners, and customer retention remain relevant, differentiated, and growth-oriented.

Your tasks in this position include, among others, the following:

• Development and implementation of the vision and strategy of the Solution Area Datacenter across Europe
• Identification of market changes, customer needs, and competitive trends, as well as their translation into actionable priorities and roadmaps
• Shaping portfolio alignment and investment plans in collaboration with the Service-Line teams and other stakeholders
• Leading and influencing virtual teams across country and Service-Line boundaries to align strategy, priorities, and implementation
• Representing the technology area in European steering meetings and leadership forums
• Developing compelling Thought Leadership, customer messages, and strategic resources to support sales and growth
• Collaborating with customers, partners, and analysts to strengthen the market position and strategic relevance of Computacenter
• Supporting key business opportunities across the company through the exchange of insights, alignment, and technological expertise

Your Profile

• Comprehensive experience in the IT industry, particularly in the Solution Area Datacenter, paired with sound technical knowledge and business understanding.
• Proven ability to develop technology strategies, visions, and roadmaps in a complex business environment
• Experience working in matrix structures and leading virtual teams through influence
• Confident handling of high-level stakeholders, customers, and partners
• Strong communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to translate complex ideas into clear strategic guidelines
• Strategic thinking, sound judgment, and strong problem-solving skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the credibility to embrace challenges, exert influence, and drive alignment
• Excellent communication skills in English
• A university degree or an equivalent qualification is preferred
