Fusion Technical Assistance Manager M/F

We are looking for a Fusion Technical Assistance Manager to lead and coordinate activities related to glass furnaces and feeders for Isover and its licensees on an international scale. Reporting to the Isover Technical Director, the Fusion TA Manager manages and develops a team of 3 engineers, 1 apprentice, and 1 intern.

This position plays a key role in guaranteeing the quality of interventions, the reliability of installations, the optimization of fusion processes, and the skill development of the teams.

The main missions of the position are:

Audits and monitoring of installations: Plan and conduct technical audits of furnaces and feeders, diagnose wear, and recommend necessary actions to extend the lifespan of the equipment. Respond to emergencies related to furnace accidents and organize the necessary interventions. Construction and heavy maintenance projects: Supervise shutdowns, reconstructions, and equipment startups, while providing your expertise during the engineering and design phases. Process improvement: Lead technical innovation projects and continuous improvement of fusion installations. Standardize methods, tools, and practices related to the wear of furnaces and feeders. Training and skill development of teams: Develop, structure, and organize training to support local teams and harmonize technical practices on an international scale. Compliance and safety: Guarantee compliance with the Group's EHS rules during construction sites and the application of industrial quality and safety standards.

Is this position right for you? We are looking for a profile with:

Education: Engineering degree in thermal, metallurgy, materials, or mechanics. Experience: Significant experience in continuous fire industry (glassmaking, metallurgy, or equivalent), with demonstrated skills in site management and technical supervision. Skills: Expertise in industrial diagnostics, technical audits, and project management. Interpersonal skills: leadership, uniting multicultural teams, pedagogy, and communication. Fluent English is essential.
