Why do we need you? Within TIP, the Supply Chain Excellence team is looking for an apprentice as a Supply Chain & Network Design Analyst (M/F) to participate in supply chain optimization projects for Saint-Gobain subsidiaries.

Within the central Supply Chain team, and on a global scope, you will participate in the implementation of logistics network optimization projects and transport optimization projects, and you will create Power BI reports.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Excellence Champion, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Model logistics networks from Excel data: understand, clean, and structure data to represent flows between suppliers, factories, and customers.
  • Analyze different logistics scenarios with Llamasoft in order to identify the most relevant solutions based on client needs.
  • Build Power BI reports to analyze study results and clearly present key findings to teams and internal clients.
  • Participate in the monitoring of network design projects: understand internal client needs, collect necessary data, participate in follow-up meetings, and evolve analyses based on requests.
  • Conduct market studies on network design tools: identify solutions available on the market, compare their functionalities, and gather the needs of different group entities, in collaboration with the Purchasing and IT teams.
  • Manage and analyze project-related data: update databases, organize information, perform analyses, and contribute to administrative reporting and project monitoring.

Is this position right for you? Education: Student in an engineering school with a specialization in Supply Chain, you are looking for a one-year apprenticeship.

Experience/Knowledge/Technical Skills:

  • You have a good command of English (minimum B2): daily communication in English within an international team
  • You have a good command of BI tools (Power BI, Excel, Tableau Prep Builder)
  • You have basics in linear programming
  • You have knowledge of relational databases
  • You demonstrate good knowledge of the Office Pack
