Assistant Supply Chain Manager M/F (M/F)

Why do we need you?

As part of a new position creation, we are looking for our future Assistant Supply Chain Manager. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the assistant must autonomously and responsibly ensure the management of the procurement and scheduling functions. In this capacity, they manage the Scheduling and MPSAE (Raw Materials, Support, Adhesive, Packaging) / Procurement teams. They are also the referent for warehouse management. Your missions will be:

Scheduling / Procurement:-

• Guarantee the alignment between customer demand and production capacities while optimizing factory costs and constraints
• Supervise the scheduling of production lines and the optimization of production programs
• Supervise the procurement of raw materials and purchased semi-finished products
• Participate in meetings with central purchasing
• Determine optimum stock levels for raw materials and finished products
• Be responsible for the supply of calcin
• Ensure compliance with material storage rules
• Optimize the use of IT tools
• Define the monitoring of indicators with the Supply Chain Manager.

Warehouse Management:-

• Manage warehouse operations autonomously
• Lead monthly meetings
• Be responsible for the monitoring, analysis, and improvement of associated indicators
• Optimize stock levels
• Manage annual inventories
• Optimize costs.

Continuous Improvement - WCM:-

• Ensure activity reporting and monitoring of the Supply Chain department's performance indicators
• Lead projects, track gains, and be proactive in proposing solutions
• Propose and implement optimization actions in terms of quality, cost, and yield
• Participate in the WCM approach pillars
• Lead 5S improvement in their sectors

Management and Communication:-

• Hierarchically manage the planning, procurement, and logistics technician teams
• Hierarchically manage a team of forklift operators/warehouse workers
• Conduct annual performance reviews for their teams and define objectives for collaborators where necessary
• Motivate and ensure the involvement of their team
• Promote the development or recognition of the skills of the personnel under their responsibility.

Is this position right for you?

With a Master's degree (Bac+5) in Supply Chain, you have at least 5 years of experience in shipping, planning, or transport in an industrial environment. You are recognized for your skills in flow management and organization, and you have already experienced process optimization and continuous improvement project management. As a manager, you drive field teamwork and ensure a high level of communication and rigor, which will allow you to become a true performance contributor. Proficiency in English and IT tools (notably SAP, Pack Office) is required for this position.
