The buyer autonomously manages a purchasing portfolio, from the expression of needs to supplier follow-up, guaranteeing economic performance, securing supplies, and compliance with Group procedures, while actively contributing to the continuous improvement of the Purchasing function.
Your main missions will be:
Purchasing Management
Autonomously manage a purchasing portfolio by families/categories. Manage routine and project purchasing in compliance with internal and Group rules. Analyze internal needs and propose optimized purchasing solutions (cost, lead time, quality). Conduct and analyze supplier consultations (RFQ, comparisons, recommendations). Contribute to purchasing decision-making and formalize the selected choices either through a purchase order or by drafting a contract. Negotiation & Contracting
Negotiate with suppliers (price, lead times, commercial conditions, service levels). Participate in competition and calls for tenders within their scope. Contribute to the monitoring and application of existing supplier contracts. Act as guarantor for the compliance of purchased products and services. Supplier Panel Management and Development
Ensure the reliability of supply sources (security, lead times, volumes, costs). Manage supplier disputes (quantity, quality, lead time) until resolution. Participate in the evaluation, review, and development of suppliers. Identify opportunities for rationalization or improvement of the supplier panel. Supplies & Flows
Manage supplies within their scope in coordination with the Supply Chain. Ensure business continuity and compliance with defined stock levels. Anticipate supply risks and propose action plans. Fleet Management
Ensure proper management of company vehicle reservations by employees. Handing over company vehicle keys as well as associated documents. Check the condition of the vehicle and organize vehicle maintenance appointments. Verify payment expenses related to the Total Société card. Performance & Continuous Improvement
Monitor purchasing indicators (costs, lead times, supplier performance). Identify and implement improvement actions (standardization, cost reduction, reliability). Contribute to cross-functional Purchasing / Supply Chain projects. Participate in internal audits and compliance with QHSE requirements and purchasing compliance. Is this position right for you? Higher education (Master's degree) in purchasing or significant experience in a similar function, ideally in an industrial environment. Good knowledge of purchasing and supply processes. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Pack Office and an ERP. Fluent English. Expected Qualities
