Bachelor's degree.

Corrections. Personal and social adjustment and health (substance abuse, gambling, behaviour disorders). Crime prevention.

Tasks:
- Prepare reports or case histories.
- Assess offenders' prospects for successful reintegration into the community.
- Plan rehabilitation programs with offenders, establishing rules of conduct, goals and objectives.
- Plan rehabilitation programs with offenders.
- Assess client's relevant skill strengths and development needs.
- Evaluate offenders' progress.
- Resolve conflict situations.
- Implement substance abuse treatment programs.
- Conduct individual and group counselling sessions.
- Liaise with other social services agencies and health care providers involved with clients.
- Maintain program statistics for purposes of evaluation and research.
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses :
- Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST).
- Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate.
- First Aid Certificate.
