Join the power movement as CSA Project Engineer Responsible for activities relating to design and construction engineering within the civil, structural, and architectural (CSA) discipline, but is also familiar with other construction disciplines. Duties include working with engineering teams in the planning, sequencing, assembling, and issuing of Construction Work Packages; development of installation specifications, 3D model coordination, interpreting design drawings and specifications, field verification of materials, monitoring construction progress, response to questions by constructors, providing direction in the field to ensure construction is in compliance with engineering documentation and developing turnover packages to commissioning.
What you'll do: Collaborate with engineering to address constructability and design issues relating to civil, structural, and architectural scopes for process systems
Provide review and approval of external civil, structural, or architectural engineering documentation and specifications
Interface with outside engineering firms for CSA designs
Lead cross functional 3D model reviews to identify constructability, installation, and resolve interface issues
Identify the content of engineering document packages (Work Packages) required to support construction activities in the field
Plan, sequence, assemble, and issue Construction Work Packages
Partner with engineering teams responsible for process systems to facilitate efficient conversion of design deliverables into construction ready work
Oversee the maintenance of construction configuration management
Work with Contractor to support tracking, reporting, and forecasting activities in the field
Coordinate with the Procurement Organization for field procured materials, material substitution, services, and equipment
Review material receiving reports and warehousing to assure delivery of correct materials
Coordinate the preparation of cost reports, forecasts, and progress reports
Coordinate with Field Supervision and Subcontractors to plan/support construction schedules
Recommend and implement procedures to ensure construction remains in compliance with the requirements of engineering and design
Ensure engineering and procurement provide timely delivery of drawings, materials, and equipment
Support the construction quality program
Support problem solving in the field and serve as liaison between Construction and Engineering
Support development and implementation of the Request for Information (RFI)/Field Change Request (FCR) process between Construction and CFS engineering
Manage system turnover schedule with construction managing contractor
Develop turnover packages in accordance with defined system / sub-system breakdown
Track pending issues and actions impacting system turnover
Coordinate and facilitate system walkdowns
Review field generated inspection records for quality and completeness
Review field generated punch list items for quality and completeness and progress in project database
Support the implementation of the records retention and turnover plans
What we’re looking for: BS in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related engineering discipline
Minimum of 5 years supporting design, construction, and execution of civil/structural projects or process systems with structural requirements
Demonstrated understanding of the engineering, design, and construction lifecycle for complex industrial facilities or process systems
Experience supporting civil, structural, and architectural (CSA) scopes, including structural steel, concrete, foundations, embeds, anchors, equipment supports, and building systems
Codes and standards with additional knowledge of IBC, AISC, ACI, and ASCE
Ability to read and understand engineering documents issued for construction such as P&IDs and isometric drawings
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment
Bonus points for: Codes and standards with additional knowledge of IBC, AISC, ACI, and ASCE

Must-have Requirements: Perform activities such as stooping, climbing, typing, standing, or sitting for extended periods of time
Dedication to safety to mitigate industrial hazards that may include heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, and cryogenics
Willingness to travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call occasionally
