Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on work in the making of pastry/savoury/kitchen/bakery products
- Maintain consistent quality in the preparation of products
- Ensure proper packing, labelling and storage of ingredients and products
- Assist with logistics such as trolley wrap/cover/retrievability, product picking & dispatch, wherever required
- Execute all duties tasked by Reporting Officers in the department
- Observe and adhere to highest safety, sanitary & hygiene standards in the production area
- Comply with FSSC, AVA and other local food authorities, including MUIS/Halal, requirements
- Perform or assist with administrative activities such as those related to production planning & FSSC/SAP production documentation
- Ensure proper and safe use of all equipment and work areas
Key Competencies:
- Exposure in the manufacturing of western pastry/savoury/kitchen/bakery products & on a large scale
- Familiarisation with Food Quality Control System and FSSC system
- Knowledge in running the relevant equipment, as necessary
