You will serve as a Total Force Management Director (N1) for Commander, Navy Region, Europe, Africa, Central (COMAVEURAFCENT) of COMMANDER NAVY REGION EUROPE, Naples, Italy.

Major duties

  • You will provide expert advice in the areas of military and civilian manpower, regional consolidations, transfers of work/function, and other organizational issues.
  • You will be responsible for a full range of management planning, direction, oversight, coordination, and execution to ensure program requirements are within applicable standards.
  • You will be responsible for regional manpower, personnel, and human capital strategy development programs.
  • You will Direct, coordinate or oversee supervisors or team leaders of cross functional teams or matrixed support.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Managing and administering complex manpower and personnel programs; 2) Utilizing a wide range of policies and regulations to oversee the administration of civilian and military total workforce and manpower programs; 3) Allocating manpower resources to provide complete total force manpower services; and 4) Developing plans to address deficient situations and improve complex manpower processes.
