You will serve as a SUPERVISORY WORK AND FAMILY LIFE SPECIALIST in the FAMILY READINESS DIVISION (N91), FLEET AND FAMILY READINESS DEPARTMENT (N9) of NAVSUBASE KINGSBAY.

Major duties

  • You will organize, set, and monitor workflow of the Work and Family Life Program. (WFL)
  • You will monitor and report on the status, progress, timeliness, quantity, and quality of individual and teamwork.
  • You will develop and implement procedures to monitor, analyze and document service effectiveness.
  • You will apply concepts, principles, and theories relating to WFL services delivery systems to analyze and interpret complete social and behavioral data concerning clients.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience planning and coordinating programs (i.e., education services, human/personal growth and development) to assist individuals and groups in managing family and life issues Experience conducting interviews with single and married military personnel and family members to provide assistance with such things as developing goals and assisting with referral services. Experience maintaining liaison with community programs/services to further the family and life programs. Experience supervising staff assigned to the Work and Family Life unit and organizing, setting, and monitoring the work of the unit based on short-term and long-term priorities.
