IT Business Analyst — AMK

Job Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business requirements with internal and external stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria and functional specifications .
• Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Facilitate workshops and apply Design Thinking to understand user needs.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and prioritise business requirements.
• Work closely with developers, designers, project managers and product owners in an Agile environment.
• Develop test cases and test plans, and perform functional, regression, UAT and end-to-end testing.
• Identify and track defects through to resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role.
• Strong software / IT background.
• Hands-on experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• At least 1 year of QA/testing experience , including manual testing and defect management.
• Strong business analysis, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of Design Thinking and user-centred design.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Miro, FigJam or similar tools.

Preferred

• Experience working with government agencies, public-sector organisations or government-related projects.
• Experience with UAT, functional and regression testing.
• Familiarity with Figma, TestRail or Postman.
• Business Analysis certification such as CBAP or CCBA.
