Cloud Specialist ( 1 year contract)

Responsibilities:
- Play an active role and key contributor in the specification, setup and run Proof of Concepts and demonstrations of cloud solutions.
- Architect and administer Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters with strict governance, namespace management, Helm chart deployments, and authentication integration.
- Design, implement, and optimize enterprise-grade DevOps pipelines (CI/CD) withsecurity, compliance, and high availability as core principles
- Drive AWS cloud adoption (EC2, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, CloudWatch) with a focus on automation, security hardening, and cost optimization.
- Oversee infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible) to ensure consistent provisioning and configuration of cloud and on-prem workloads.
- Automate cloud operations, develop infrastructure automation scripts and participate in the continuous improvement of cloud solutions
- Manage and troubleshoot middleware technologies (WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, MQ) with experience in migration across platforms (e.g., AIX → Linux).
- Implement monitoring and observability stacks (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK/EFK) to provide proactive performance and incident visibility.
- Enforce secure authentication models including SAML, OAuth, Keycloak, and ADFS across applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in highly regulated environments, ensuring compliance with ITIL standards.
- Lead root cause analysis for incidents, deliver detailed remediation, and guide BAU (business-as-usual) operational excellence.
- Administer and maintain servers across cloud and virtual platforms.
- Implement disaster recovery automation using Runbook automation and OpenShift Operators, significantly reducing recovery time and strengthening system reliability.
Requirements:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or a related technical field.
- At least 10 to 15 years and above in IT Infrastructure, DevOps, and Cloudengineering roles, with at least 10 years of experience implementing CI/CDpipelines integrated with code quality and security tools.
- Proven track record in multi-region cloud infrastructure migrations and modernizationefforts, integrating microservices, container platforms, and cloud-nativeservices to support business growth.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters and AWS cloud services with proven large-scale deployment experience.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker with Helm-based application delivery.
- Proven track records in middleware migration and support within mission-critical systems.
- Strong technical expertise in Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Bamboo, Git, and pipeline security integrations.
- Strong Linux/Unix (RHEL, AIX, Ubuntu) administration skills with patching, hardening, and automation.
- Strong knowledge of storage technologies (SAN/NAS) and enterprise database platforms (Oracle, DB2, MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
- Proven track records in monitoring ecosystems (Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, ELK) and incident resolution in 24x7 environments.

- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Certified
- Red Hat Ansible Certified
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
