INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) SPECIALIST

Respond to IT help requests and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues promptly. Install, configure, and update operating systems, antivirus software, and office applications. Monitor network performance, configure printers and phones, and ensure secure internet connections. Manage new hire onboarding/offboarding by setting up user accounts, passwords, and permissions. Repair or replace damaged equipment and maintain an updated log of IT assets and inventory. Keep records of service histories, software licenses, and network configurations. Other tasks may assigned from time to time.

Qualifications/Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering.
• Ability to install, diagnose, and maintain hardware, alongside deep familiarity with Windows, macOS, or Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of foundational networking concepts like IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and router/switch configuration.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) and database management languages like SQL
• Ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical users and staff.
