Your role will be to support the team during the Assembly, Integration, and Test phases of satellites. Tasks will be:
- Mechanical, thermal, and electrical integration: Perform the assembly and integration of satellite equipment and components in the mechanical, thermal, and electrical domains, ensuring strict compliance with technical protocols, cleanliness standards, and quality control measures.
- Preparation and execution of tests: Set up and organize the hardware, equipment, and tools necessary for various internal functional and environmental tests.
- Cleanroom operations: Comply with contamination control protocols in the cleanroom.
- Tooling maintenance (GSE): Ensure the appropriate configuration, calibration, and maintenance of mechanical tooling (MGSE) as well as electrical tooling and equipment for testing (EGSE) used during integration.
- Equipment and component verification: Inspect and verify all equipment and components before integration, performing dimensional and functional checks.
- Participate in environmental test campaigns, including thermal vacuum, vibration, and shock tests.
- Documentation and reporting: Accurately document each integration step, deviation, and result, contributing to integration and test reports.
- Non-Conformance Reports (NCR): Identify and report anomalies encountered during AIT, working with quality to troubleshoot and effectively resolve issues.
- Health and safety compliance: Comply with health, safety, and environment (HSE) standards, maintaining a safe workspace and following electrostatic discharge (ESD) protocols to protect electronic devices.
- You will work under the supervision of the AIT team leader and maintain regular interactions with cross-functional teams.
The selected candidate must have:
- Proficiency in integration tools for mechanical, thermal, and electrical installations.
- Experience in the integration of electronic equipment and harnesses, particularly in high-tech sectors such as aeronautics, space, or defense;
- Experience in MLI, SLI, SSM, and other thermal component integration;
- Proficiency in the use and maintenance of mechanical and electrical tooling for integration and testing;
- Knowledge of ESD handling protocols to protect sensitive electronics during testing;
- Previous experience working in a cleanroom environment;
- Familiarity with CAD tools such as Solid Works or Catia for interpreting designs and assembly drawings.
- English level B2/C1
Desired training: CAP to BAC+2 in mechanical engineering preferably or electronics. A minimum of 2 years in a hands-on integration role in the aerospace or satellite sector, with experience in cleanroom procedures and environmental test configurations. The candidate must have the following mindset:
- Passionate about technical and hands-on work, with a strong problem-solving and analytical capacity.
