Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with internal and external parties.
- Develop detailed project plans, including project tasks, schedules, and resource requirements.
- Identify project phases and assign responsibilities to project team members accordingly.
- Plan and monitor project milestones to ensure timely project execution and completion.
- Manage procurement activities, including purchase requests and material delivery schedules.
- Ensure projects are executed within the approved budget and targeted margins.
Project Coordination and Management
- Coordinate and direct project activities to ensure efficient execution and delivery of complex projects.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to project engineers, site supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Attend and lead site coordination and technical meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
- Maintain close coordination with developers, architects, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities.
ProjectMonitoring and Reporting
- Track project performance to ensure compliance with project schedules, budgets, and technical requirements.
- Update the forecast file regularly to reflect the latest status and any changes in schedule, cost, or scope.
- Identify project issues and implement solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Review project execution processes and introduce improvements to enhance project performance.
- Oversee testing andcommissioning to ensure system performance meets design and regulatoryrequirements.
- Ensure all projectdeliverables meet contractual specifications and technical requirements.
- Ensure proper documentationand timely project handover to the client upon completion.
Safety,Quality and Compliance
- Ensure all project activities comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH), ISO standards, and relevant regulations.
- Manage project safety documentation and support safety audits where required.
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by enforcing company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct periodic reviews to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout project execution.
Management and Business Support
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
- Address project-related issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Support management in identifying potential project opportunities and business development initiatives.
Requirements and skills
- Degree or Diploma in Construction Management /Mechanical / Electrical Engineering with relevant work experience.
- 6- 8 years of Knowledge or work experience in smokecontrol, fire alarm, HVAC, and building automation preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local regulations, safetystandards, and industry practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, andstakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams in afast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications forproject documentation, reporting, and communication.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM is essential.
