About the company

As part of the transformation of its ERP towards Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, an international specialized retail group is strengthening its project team. KERNET is looking for a Tech Lead to ensure, on the client side, the critical review and approval of the integrator's technical design documents. The objective: to ensure the reliability of the solution and resolve ambiguities before the start of development.

Your tasks

  • Review technical specifications against approved business requirements and verify their completeness, clarity, and testability.
  • Evaluate design directions, prioritizing native D365 functions and assessing the necessity of extensions or custom developments.
  • Measure the consequences of the chosen solutions on architecture, application exchanges, data, permissions, and performance.
  • Record points of reservation, request expected clarifications, and manage their resolution until document approval.
  • Lead review workshops with the integration partner, functional leads, and the IT department.
  • Maintain the link between requirements, technical design, developed components, and test scenarios.
  • Verify the alignment of developments with approved documents and support the correction of discrepancies.
  • Anticipate technical difficulties and prepare decisions to be presented to steering committees.
  • Participate in securing the deployment and the transfer of knowledge to internal teams.

Requirements

  • Confirmed experience in technical management or architecture on Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Good mastery of the main operational modules of D365 F&O: Procurement and sourcing, Sale, WMS, TMS.
  • Proven practice in analyzing and approving technical specifications, ideally representing the client facing an integrator.
  • Expertise in X++, D365 extension mechanisms, data entities, and integration mechanisms.
  • Mastery of interfacing, data migration, access control, and performance challenges.
  • Ability to assess the ease of maintenance and the sustainability of technical choices during platform evolutions.
  • Operational English for communicating with international interlocutors.
  • Knowledge of retail, the healthcare sector, or multi-entity organizations is an asset.
