Tech Lead Data Engineer - GCP / Python - Industrialization & Documentary GenAI - Freelance (M/F)
Ever"T - AI-native, innovative, and hyper-growth tech consulting company - is looking for a Tech Lead Data Engineer to technically lead a data feature team within a large international group.
Project Context
Our client is structuring an ambitious Data Factory around a modern GCP stack and GenAI use cases applied to the exploitation of massive documentary corpora, in a highly regulated environment (traceability, compliance, and data quality are non-negotiable).
The organization operates in multidisciplinary feature teams (Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Platform profiles, Product Owner). You will take the technical lead of one of them.
The current focus is not about producing more pipelines: it is about raising the level of industrialization. The client has internally identified a strong need for normalization - design patterns, hexagonal architecture, code cleanliness, and testability. You are there to embody this standard and disseminate it within the team.
Your Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for a multidisciplinary feature team: architectural decisions, code reviews, team skill development
*
Design and industrialize large-scale data and document processing pipelines on GCP
*
Establish and maintain quality standards: design patterns, hexagonal architecture, tests, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code
*
Contribute to LLM-based processing chains (extraction, structuring, and documentary generation from existing corpora)
*
Exchange directly with business and Product teams to define requirements, including in English
*
Be the technical point of reference for the team: decide, explain, document
Expected Profile
Essential
*
Solid Data Engineering experience in a cloud environment, with real mastery of GCP (very strong cloud versatility with an appetite for GCP can be discussed)
*
Python at a software engineer level, not just scripting
*
Design patterns and hexagonal architecture: you know how to explain why you structure a project this way, not just how to apply it
*
Strong industrialization culture: tests, code quality, CI/CD, Terraform
*
Experience as a technical lead or referent within a multidisciplinary team
*
Professional English, both written and spoken
Appreciated
*
Orchestration of containerized workflows (Argo Workflows or equivalent)
*
Exposure to GenAI / LLM chains in production (RAG, documentary processing)
*
Experience in environments subject to strong compliance constraints
