C# .NET Azure Tech Lead Developer - Freelance (M/F)

About the company

Within the IT department, the "connected systems" service manages a portfolio of projects related to several applications, some in the BUILD phase and others in the RUN phase.

Growing deployment requiring product evolution and the creation of new products. Teams organized in SAFe trains, multiple SCRUM teams located in France, India, Mauritius, and Morocco.

Your tasks

Tech Lead mission on water meter remote reading projects. Intervention both in development on existing projects and supervising a small team of developers.

Applications developed in a very Microsoft environment with CI/CD chains (in order of importance: C#, SQL Server, Databricks, Kubernetes/AKS, Mulesoft, Azure).

• Understand current remote reading data acquisition and distribution products.
• Maintain and evolve these products.
• Lead one or more developers (recruitment in progress) and supervise a small team.
• Intervene as a developer on existing projects and ensure skills transfer.

• Microsoft C# .NET, Visual Studio development environments
• AzureDevOps environment (Git versioning, pipeline deployment, project management via features, US, bugs, reporting)
• DBMS, preferably SQL Server or Azure SQL
• High-volume Backend interacting with multiple systems (Webservices, API, batches)
• DATA aspects: SQL, Databricks, PowerBI
• Front-end: .NET website (supervision and skill development)
• Azure environment and its components
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
• Implementation of automated non-regression tests and unit tests
• Knowledge of modern technical architectures: Cloud, CI/CD, IaC, Virtualization, Kubernetes, Docker

Requirements

1. Experienced profile, Tech Lead
2. Fluent English (mandatory for teams in India)
3. Experience supervising a few developers
4. Mastery of the different phases of a project and writing deliverables (specifications, tests, acceptance, user documentation)
5. Ability to work in a matrix organization
6. Ability to communicate and synthesize
7. Ease of integrating into ongoing projects
8. Mastery of Microsoft C# .NET, Visual Studio development environments
9. Full mastery of the AzureDevops environment (Git versioning, pipeline deployment, project management through features, US, bug, ability to provide associated reporting)
10. Mastery of at least one DBMS, preferably SQL Server or Azure SQL
11. Proven experience in development on a high-volume backend interacting with multiple systems (Webservices, API, batches)
12. Ability to develop skills in DATA aspects (SQL initially, but also to a lesser extent Databricks & Powerbi)
13. Ability to lead a developer on front-end elements and ability to develop skills in this area if needed (.NET website)
14. Knowledge of the Azure environment and its components
15. Knowledge of IaC principles
16. Ability to implement automated non-regression tests and unit tests
17. Good knowledge of "modern" technical architecture principles (Cloud, CI/CD, IaC, Virtualization, Kubernetes, docker...)
