Product Manager Data & AI Platform - (M/F) - Freelance

As part of the development of a global Data & AI platform, our client, a large international group, is looking for a Product Manager Data & AI Platform.

The objective of this platform is to provide Data, Engineering, and AI teams with a robust, governed, and high-performance technical foundation, allowing them to rapidly develop and deploy their various use cases.

You will work alongside the Product Lead to contribute to the roadmap, manage the backlog, and evolve the platform's capabilities, working in close proximity to the technical teams.

YOUR MISSIONS

• Contribute to the definition and evolution of the Data & AI platform product roadmap.
• Manage and prioritize the backlog: ingestion, pipelines, data quality, canonical models, governance, platform services.
• Gather user requirements and translate them into specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Work directly with Data Engineers, Platform teams, AI, and architects on ingestion and integration issues: batch, streaming, APIs.
• Contribute to the definition of Data standards: quality, metadata, governance, lineage, and traceability.
• Participate in the evolution of platform capabilities to meet future AI / ML use cases.
• Monitor usage, reliability, and performance indicators to guide product priorities.
• Drive delivery and implement Agile practices adapted to a Data / Engineering environment.
• Collaborate closely with the teams in charge of user onboarding and monitor associated metrics.
• Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs to sponsors and participate in governance bodies.
• Significant experience in Product Management / Product Ownership within a Data or Data Platform environment.
• Good understanding of data ingestion and integration issues: batch, streaming, APIs.
• Knowledge of the core principles of a Data platform: security, IAM, sensitive data, retention, and observability.
• Mastery of the fundamentals of Data Quality, Metadata, and Data Governance: catalogs, lineage, traceability.
• Ability to work daily with Data Engineers and technical profiles, while also interacting with business stakeholders.
• Good mastery of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, or equivalent) and backlog management/prioritization.
• Proficiency in tools such as Jira / Confluence / Atlassian suite.
• Knowledge of Azure, Databricks, GitHub, or Azure DevOps is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Sensitivity to Data readiness issues for AI / ML use cases is appreciated.
• Rigorous, autonomous, and structured profile, comfortable in international and cross-functional environments.
• Fluent English is essential.
