Senior IT Project Manager EBanking M/F - Freelance

Your tasks

You will intervene as a Senior IT Project Manager on a strategic decommissioning mission of an EBanking solution within a large international banking organization. This position positions you at the heart of digital transformation and complex project management, in a demanding and stimulating context.

Position and missions

• Lead the decommissioning project of the EBanking solution according to client requirements.
• Ensure the monitoring of delivery and the vendor roadmap (RFP).
• Plan and facilitate project committees with the various stakeholders.
• Manage alerts and ensure proper communication regarding risks and points of vigilance.
• Verify and validate all project deliverables (committee materials, project management dashboards, reporting).
• Coordinate relations with vendors and manage associated contracts.

Responsibilities

• Guarantee adherence to deadlines, quality of deliverables, and respect for contractual commitments.
• Propose innovative solutions to secure the success of the project.
• Maintain regular reporting to management and stakeholders.

Requirements

We are looking for a Senior IT Project Director with solid experience in the management and steering of complex IT projects, ideally in a banking or financial context.

Experience

• Minimum 12 years of experience in IT project management, including project direction missions and steering of external vendors.

Education

• Higher degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent.

Technical skills

• Mastery of project management (steering, facilitating committees, roadmap and RFP monitoring).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Project Server.
• Proven experience in vendor steering and contractual management.
• Fluent English (English-speaking environment).

Soft skills

• Excellent communication skills, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Autonomy, rigor, and the ability to work in demanding and international environments.

Certifications/plus

• PMP certification or equivalent is an asset.

• Technical environment: Microsoft Project Server.
