Lead UX/UI Designer Front-End - Data & AI - Paris or Lille - Freelance (M/F)

CONTEXT

Long-term mission, based in Lille or Paris (hybrid). The organization places Artificial Intelligence at the heart of its strategy and has a dedicated Data & (Gen)AI structure aiming to make these technologies accessible and adoptable by all teams. The main objective is to homogenize and industrialize the user experience within an ecosystem of internal Data & AI products.

MISSIONS

• Define and lead the front-end and UX strategy for the Data & AI platform.
• Design holistic user journeys and co-construct with Product Managers to ensure consistency across touchpoints.
• Standardize the user experience of Data & AI products to reduce interface fragmentation.
• Design, implement, and maintain a dedicated Design System (leveraging the existing design system) to ensure a common visual and functional identity.
• Lead front-end capabilities for internal products, ensuring the faithful translation of design into code.
• Promote a fluid, accessible user experience aligned with modern standards, and raise team awareness regarding design principles (affordance, signifiers).
• Collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Product Marketing Managers, and Customer Success Managers to design interfaces for AI agents, hubs, and dashboards.
• The role is expected to evolve towards a formal engineering management position with the formation of a dedicated team.

1. 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, specifically for technical products, data platforms, or complex B2B SaaS environments
2. Solid experience in holistic user journey mapping, persona creation, and co-construction work with Product Managers
3. Proven experience in the creation, implementation, and scaling of Design Systems
4. Strong technical background with practical experience or managerial skills in Front-End Software Engineering (e.g., React, Vue.js, or similar modern frameworks)
5. Leadership skills with the ability to supervise front-end developers and promote design best practices
6. Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design processes and the simplification of complex workflows
7. High degree of autonomy and proactivity
8. Written and oral mastery of English (mandatory)
