Context

Within a Data & Business Intelligence Department, you will join a team of about a dozen collaborators composed of BI, Data Engineering, project management, and technical expertise specialists. You will join the Data Platform team and participate in strategic projects for the transformation and modernization of data infrastructures.

The working environment is based on agile methods inspired by SCRUM and promotes collaboration between technical and business teams.

Main Missions

Reporting to the BI & Data Manager, you will act as a technical referent and operational manager for a team of Data Engineers.

In this capacity, you will be required to:

• Supervise, support, and develop the skills of a team of Data Engineers.
• Lead technical work and ensure activity monitoring.
• Participate in the definition and modeling of data architectures.
• Design and develop data pipelines capable of processing large volumes.
• Analyze business needs and technical constraints.
• Guarantee the quality, performance, and security of data processing.
• Ensure the implementation of development best practices (tests, integration, deployment, documentation).
• Organize and prioritize team activities via project tracking tools.
• Contribute to the modernization of decision-making and data platforms.
• Present achievements and technical evolutions to business and technical stakeholders.
• Ensure the maintenance and evolution of technical documentation.

REQUIRED PROFILE

Experience

• Minimum 6 years of experience in the fields of BI, Data Engineering, or Big Data.
• Proven experience as a Lead Developer or technical referent.
• Significant experience in Big Data environments and Data transformation projects.

Technical Skills

• Mastery of Python, Scala, and JavaScript.
• Solid knowledge of Big Data architectures.
• Expertise in data modeling and management.
• Good mastery of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience in implementing supervision, monitoring, or data quality control tools.
• Experience with Cloudera or modern Data platforms is an asset.
