Want to join a team where tech and stimulating projects meet? This opportunity is made for you! We are continuing our development and are currently looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer - Virtualization & Optimization to work for one of our clients.
Context: Do you want to put your expertise in IT infrastructures at the service of their performance and evolution?
We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to work on complex technical environments, with a role combining systems expertise, resource analysis, and infrastructure optimization.
Here is a detailed overview of your missions
- You analyze the performance and usage of IT infrastructures (servers, virtualized environments, storage) in order to identify saturation risks and optimization areas
- You anticipate IT resource needs and develop short, medium, and long-term capacity plans
- You recommend sizing and infrastructure optimization solutions, taking into account technical and budgetary challenges as well as the equipment life cycle
- You collect and exploit technical data to produce reporting and present your analyses to teams and stakeholders
- You coordinate infrastructure evolution actions with technical teams and partners, and ensure their proper implementation
Requirements
The skills we are looking for
- You have more than 5 years of experience in systems administration and VMware
- You possess deep knowledge of IT infrastructures and are able to use your technical expertise to analyze needs, challenge proposed choices, and formulate recommendations
- You are comfortable in English (reading - writing - speaking)
You particularly know
- Windows and Linux system environments, x86 servers, and VMware virtualization.
- SAN, NAS, and vSAN storage infrastructures
- General principles of databases and middleware.
And above all, you like to understand, challenge, and build with others.
