Expert / Consultant Axway SecureTransport (MFT) - Freelance (M/F)

CONTEXT

As part of the reinforcement and modernization of data exchange infrastructures (MFT) for a major client in the sector, we are looking for an Axway SecureTransport (ST) Expert / Consultant.

You will be responsible for ensuring the design, administration, deployment, and migration of secure flows within production and non-production environments. You will play a key role in scoping requirements, technical integration with external and internal partners, as well as process automation.

MISSIONS

1. Flow Design & Administration

• Design, configuration, and deployment of secure flows via Axway SecureTransport, Axway CFT, and XFB Gateway.
• Configuration of secure transfer protocols (FTPS, SFTP, HTTPS, PeSIT, etc.).
• Scoping of application and technical requirements with the MOA and functional teams.
• Management of encryption and data security (PGP/GPG encryption, SSL/TLS certificate management and renewal).

1. Migration & Infrastructure Projects

• Execution and management of flow migration projects (inter-tool transfers: CFT, Gateway, SecureTransport).
• Opening and configuration of network flows via cloud portals and internal security systems.
• Technical coordination of projects using Agile / Scrum methodology.

1. Automation, Scripting & Scheduling

• Development and maintenance of automation scripts (Shell, Bash, Python) for tooling and data processing.
• Integration of flows and file processing into production schedulers (Autosys, Dollar Universe / $U).
• Implementation of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments (Ansible, Docker, Git).

1. Operations, N3 Support & Maintenance in Operational Conditions (MCO)

• Support and resolution of complex level 3 incidents on transfer architectures.
• Drafting of technical documentation, operational instructions, and Mise En Production (MEP) files.
• Participation in production on-call rotations.

• Required seniority: 8 to 10 years minimum experience

2. Advanced mastery of Axway SecureTransport, Axway CFT, and XFB Gateway (installation, configuration, migration, administration)
3. Knowledge of secure protocols: FTPS, SFTP, PeSIT, PGP/GPG, PKI/SSL certificate management, filtering/firewall rules
4. Solid experience with schedulers: Autosys or Dollar Universe ($U)
5. Mastery of UNIX / Linux environments (RedHat, AIX, Solaris) and scripting skills (Shell, Bash, Python)
6. Knowledge of Git, Ansible, Docker, Jenkins tools
7. Professional English mandatory
