Complex IT/Data Program Director - Freelance (M/F)

CONTEXT

We are looking for a Complex IT/Data Program Director for a long-term mission in Paris, with 2 days of remote work per week. The mission starts ASAP and requires mandatory professional English as well as a seniority of at least 8 to 10 years of experience.

The client is pursuing the centralization and modernization of the SI-RC. The Data & AI Platforms program coordinates eight workstreams: BLEU/Microsoft Fabric, Teradata migration before the end of 2028, becoming Hadoop/Cloudera before the end of support in June 2027, SAS trajectory, transitional access to existing foundations, sovereign On Premise Data platform, Data/AI service platform, and Cloud to On Premise convergence or migration. Current assets include notably approximately 52 TB compressed on Teradata and a Hadoop/Cloudera Data Lake of approximately 47 TB.

MISSIONS

• Initialize the program: portfolio diagnostic, breakdown, responsibilities, priorities, arbitration, and multi-year roadmap.
• Manage costs, quality, deadlines, risks, resources, value, schedules, budgets, workloads, and inter-project dependencies.
• Prepare decisions and secure the Teradata (end of 2028), SAS (April 2028), and Cloudera (June 2027) deadlines.
• Support internal project directors without substituting for their responsibilities.
• Provide insight into Cloud BLEU/Fabric, sovereign On Premise, hybridization, convergence, and reversibility scenarios.
• Guarantee security, compliance, sovereignty, digital independence, open standards, and portability.
• Maintain the consolidated risk map, organize milestone reviews, and secure the critical path.
• Propose and lead strategic, program, operational, and technical committee structures.

10. Mastery of sovereignty, digital independence, open source, portability, reversibility, security, and GDPR issues
