CONTEXT

Our client is a large international group in the insurance and financial services sector, engaged in a major Data, AI, and automation transformation program. The organization operates in a complex, federated, and multi-entity environment, with significant challenges regarding governance, standardization, and the reusability of data assets. The mission is at the heart of a strategy to industrialize use cases related to generative and agentic artificial intelligence.

MISSIONS

• Explore business entities and priority use cases in order to define an initial implementation approach for the semantic layer.
• Design business vocabulary, glossaries, ontologies, taxonomies, and associated rules.
• Perform mapping between business concepts, processes, data products, and technical sources.
• Produce reference architecture files as well as detailed design documents.
• Define and implement governance, metadata, and quality standards established at the group level.
• Experiment with market solutions to validate the feasibility and value of the chosen approaches.
• Contribute to the enrichment of group standards based on feedback from experiments.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Data architecture, data modelling, and distributed architectures.
• Semantic layer, ontologies, taxonomies, and knowledge graphs.
• Data products, Data Mesh, and data governance.
• LLM, Generative AI, and Agentic AI architectures.
• Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Collibra, or equivalent solutions.
