About the company

The Operations Technology team is at the heart of the fund's operational and strategic activities. It ensures the robustness, reliability, and smoothness of all trading and asset management operations:

Your tasks

• Operational Management: Position keeping, trading pool administration, valuation, and Net Asset Value (NAV) calculation.
• Reporting & Compliance: Preparation of performance reports, internal control, reconciliation of flows and positions with counterparties.
• Cross-functionality: Direct collaboration with management, risk, and middle/back-office teams on all key projects.

As part of a temporary replacement to cover the prolonged absence of a key team member, the client is seeking a consultant to secure operational continuity while participating in ongoing modernization initiatives.

The service provider will have a hybrid role, combining high-level operational support and contribution to technical redesign projects:

• Operational Continuity:
• Ensure the smooth daily running of processing, NAV calculations, and reconciliations.
• Provide N2/N3 support for incidents related to operational tools.
• Application Redesign Project:
• Actively participate in the architecture and redesign project for tracking and monitoring tools.
• Develop new, robust, scalable functionalities adapted to the reactivity requirements of quantitative trading.
• DevOps Expertise & Technical Debt:
• Bring best practices in software engineering and automation (CI/CD, containerization, cloud).
• Actively identify and reduce technical debt on existing components (code refactoring, query optimization).

Requirements

With higher education in computer science or engineering (Master's degree or equivalent), you have 4 to 8 years of experience in a role as a design engineer/Full Stack developer or DevOps, ideally in the financial sector (investment banking, asset management, quantitative trading).

Technical Skills

• Python (Full Stack): Expert Level (mastery of backend development, APIs, data processing, and modular architectures).
• Databases / SQL (Oracle): Advanced Level (modeling, complex querying, performance optimization).
• Cloud (AWS): Advanced Level (service deployment, scalable environments).
• CI/CD & Automation (Jenkins): Confirmed Level.
• Version Control: Git (Advanced Level).
• Fluent English: Written and spoken daily.
