CONTEXT
As part of a strategic software factory modernization plan, the objective is to design and deploy a highly available, secure, and resilient GitLab CI/CD architecture, intended to support a population of several thousand developers, as a GitLab CI/CD Expert within the Infra/DevOps team.
MISSIONS
- Design the target GitLab CI/CD architecture (multi-node HA topology, distributed and scalable GitLab Runners, load balancing, backup/disaster recovery strategy)
- Automate deployment using Infrastructure as Code according to market standards (Terraform, Ansible)
- Guarantee resilience and the ability to scale for a massive volume of users and concurrent pipelines
- Integrate the solution with the IT ecosystem (IAM/SSO, security, secrets management, observability, alerting)
- Define CI/CD best practices (pipeline templates, runner management, pipeline security policies)
- Write technical documentation and operational procedures to ensure platform maintainability
- Participate in agile rituals
- Provide level 2/3 support to assist user teams in adopting the solution
