Security and Network Project Manager M/F - Freelance

As part of a large-scale Network and Security project, we are looking for a Security and Network Project Manager M/F to lead the functional dimension and coordinate technical and business teams. You will work under the responsibility of the Project Director, in collaboration with security experts, infrastructure, and partners, to ensure the success of transformation projects.

Main Missions:

• Ensure end-to-end functional management of the project, from needs analysis to production.
• Structure, coordinate, and monitor the various phases of the project, ensuring a proper interface between users, technical teams, and management.
• Actively participate in steering committees (COPIL) and operational committees (COMOP), ensuring reporting to stakeholders.
• Take charge of risk management, planning, deadline monitoring, and deliverable quality.
• Support change management, from design to user acceptance testing (UAT) and final deployment.

Technical and Functional Environment:

• Networks (filtering, partner connections, IT security, infrastructure).
• Backlog management, user stories, use cases, workflows.
• Close collaboration with security/infrastructure experts and business units.

Terms:

• Position based in Paris, possibility of partial remote work.
• Stimulating environment, oriented towards security, compliance, audit, and consulting.
• Expected deliverables: needs analysis, design, acceptance testing monitoring, project documentation.

We are looking for a confirmed Functional Project Manager specialized in Network and Security.

Experience:

• Significant experience in functional project management within Network and Security environments.
• Good mastery of multi-stakeholder contexts (users, technical, business).

Education:

• Higher degree (Bac+4/5) in IT, security, or a related field preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Solid knowledge of networks, IT security, and filtering.
• Knowledge of infrastructure environments, partner connections, cryptography, penetration testing.
• Ability to manage projects from needs analysis to deployment.
• Mastery of backlog management tools, user stories, workflows.
• Professional English is imperative (communication with international partners).

Soft skills:

• Leadership, organizational skills, autonomy.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Ability to unite and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.

Plus:

• Experience in audit, consulting, compliance is appreciated.
• Security certification (such as CISSP, CISM) would be an asset.
