Senior Data Project Manager - Freelance (M/F)

Daily Rate (TJM): €630/day

CONTEXT

A company in the financial services sector is looking for a senior profile capable of driving Data projects from end to end within its Data Factory. The mission consists of supporting business teams and subsidiaries in expressing their needs, data quality, use case prioritization, and the delivery of solutions on a GCP platform.

The consultant will be responsible for ensuring coordination between business units, Data Governance, Data Privacy, Data Engineering, Data Science, Architecture, and IT teams, through to production deployment and the adoption of the delivered products.

MISSIONS

• Drive Data projects from end to end
• Support business teams and subsidiaries in expressing their needs
• Ensure data quality and the prioritization of use cases
• Provide solutions on a GCP platform
• Coordinate between business units, Data Governance, Data Privacy, Data Engineering, Data Science, Architecture, and IT teams
• Monitor production deployment and the adoption of delivered products

TOOLS & ENVIRONMENT

• GCP / Google Cloud Platform / BigQuery
• Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Privacy
• Agile Methodology (roadmap, backlog, prioritization)
• QCD monitoring, KPI, reporting, and change management

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Presence in Paris 2, according to the terms defined with the client
• Start date: early October 2026
• 6-month mission, renewable

1. At least 8 years of experience, ideally in driving Data projects within a large group, a banking, financial, automotive, or international environment
2. Fluent English, both written and spoken
3. Proven experience in driving Data projects using Agile
4. Good understanding of GCP environments, ideally BigQuery
5. Ability to work with Business Owners, Data Stewards, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and governance teams
6. Mastery of scoping, functional documentation, prioritization, and QCD monitoring
