Business Analyst - Industrial Digital Transformation - Freelance (M/F)

CONTEXT

Mission as part of an industrial transformation project and the implementation of a new factory for a major international aeronautics group. Several production sites abroad, notably in England and France. The objective is to integrate the DSI from the early stages of business projects in order to understand and model industrial processes, interactions between different systems, and data flows, and then contribute to the definition of the target information system.

MISSIONS

• Collect, understand, and challenge the needs of industrial business units
• Analyze and model manufacturing processes
• Formalize processes in BPMN 2.0
• Identify the applications, systems, interactions, and data paths associated with the processes
• Act as the link between business, IT, and architecture teams
• Contribute to the definition of the target SI of the future factory
• Study the operation of existing factories to identify relevant practices and solutions
• Participate in business and IT workshops in an international environment

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Strong knowledge of the industrial world and manufacturing processes
• Understanding of the global functioning of a factory's SI and the ability to position the different components relative to each other:
• MES - Manufacturing Execution System
• MEDS - Manufacturing Engineering Design System
• WMS - Warehouse Management System
• LIMS - Laboratory Information Management System
• Equipment / machine maintenance solutions
• ERP and other industrial applications
• Flows and interactions between different systems
• No mastery of a specific editor or solution is required; the challenge is to understand the role of these systems and their articulation within a factory

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Location: Vélizy
• Planned start: consultation early October, interviews during October, potential selection late October / early November
• Travel: occasional travel to existing industrial sites, notably in England and potentially in France
• International environment
• Professional English is imperative
• TJM: no cap communicated at this stage; priority given to profile relevance
• Project: support for the design and SI transformation around a new factory
• Schedule: still indicative, as the specifications are being finalized

1. Business Analyst with significant experience in an industrial / Manufacturing environment
2. Concrete experience in digital transformation projects for factories, ideally Industry 4.0 / factory of the future
3. Good understanding of manufacturing processes and Manufacturing Engineering
4. Knowledge of BPMN 2.0 strongly desired
5. Transversal vision of industrial SIs and data flows
6. Ability to translate a business need into IT problems and requirements
7. Ability to communicate both with business units and with IT / architecture teams
8. Professional English is imperative
9. Very good interpersonal skills, ability to listen and challenge
10. Autonomous, involved profile capable of long-term commitment
11. Profile eligible for French Defense clearance (Habilitable Défense FR)
