About the company

The firm Phi Rh is supporting its client, a leader in engineering and R&D services, in the recruitment of a 5G RAN Architect (M/F). As a 5G RAN Architect, you will design, optimize, and evolve the radio part of the mobile network (4G/5G).

Your tasks

  • Design, dimension, and optimize the radio part of the mobile network (4G/5G), including the definition of cell parameters, coverage, and network capacity.
  • Analyze and optimize RAN performance through KPI studies, radio tuning, interference resolution, and advanced troubleshooting in multi-vendor environments.
  • Define and evolve the 5G RAN architecture, integrating advanced functionalities (CA, Massive MIMO, slicing, DSS, beamforming, SA/NSA).
  • Maintain active technological monitoring, following the evolution of 3GPP standards and vendor solutions (Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Core Network, Transmission, IT, engineering, deployment, and performance teams to ensure end-to-end network consistency.
  • Support network deployment and evolution projects, validate technical solutions, and assist teams during testing and integration phases.
  • Guarantee quality of service, stability, and network scalability to support traffic growth and new use cases (IoT, edge, advanced 5G services).
  • Graduate of a telecom engineering school or equivalent (Master's degree).
  • You have approximately ten years of experience in 4G/5G radio design and architecture.
  • Mastery of radio technologies: LTE, 5G NR, 3GPP protocols, propagation, cellular dimensioning.
  • Advanced skills in network optimization: KPI analysis, troubleshooting, interference management, log/trace analysis.
  • Solid understanding of RAN architecture (NSA/SA, VoLTE, DSS, CA, Massive MIMO) and planning tools (Atoll, Planet.).
  • Technical leadership & communication: ability to unite teams, work cross-functionally, and simplify complex subjects.
  • Analytical mindset, proactivity, and autonomy, with ease in international and evolving environments.
  • English is essential.
