About the company
Our client is a B2B SaaS scale-up; the AI team is looking for a freelance AI Product Manager.
Your tasks
Your projects
- AI Evaluation: building a reliable system, with quality standards, representative datasets, and automated evaluations on key user journeys.
- AI Skills Framework: enabling product teams to propose, test, and deliver new AI capabilities with a consistent level of quality.
- Knowledge management: ensuring that the AI relies on up-to-date product knowledge.
- Performance and costs: improving the speed, reliability, and economic efficiency of the AI as usage grows.
- AI in the product: further integrating the assistant into the experience, with a better understanding of user context.
- New standards: defining how emerging standards (MCP, agents) can open the platform to external tools.
Day-to-day
- Analyzing real customer interactions with the AI and transforming them into improvements and test cases.
- Supporting squad PMs in the design of AI features.
- Leading discovery, specs, and validation of AI initiatives.
- Contributing to AI product priorities.
- Maintaining AI policies and compliance, notably the AI Act, with the legal team.
- Supporting client teams on AI-related questions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of product experience in B2B SaaS.
- Concrete experience with AI products, ideally LLM-based assistants or agents.
- Mastery of AI feature evaluation: datasets, thresholds, non-regression testing.
- Strong foundations in discovery and user research, and the habit of working closely with technical teams.
- Experience in a platform team serving multiple squads.
- Knowledge of AI governance; the AI Act is a plus.
- Fluent English; French is a bonus.
- A pragmatic approach to AI, centered on user value rather than buzz.
