Oracle Database Administrator - Freelance (M/F)

PROPULSE IT is looking for a DBA for a mission at one of its clients as part of the re-insourcing of the operation of 550 Oracle databases

Under the responsibility of the department manager and with the support of an internal expert referent, the candidate will be in charge of managing the following activities:

• Appropriation of the technical context ensured by the managed service provider (knowledge transfer), and documentation thereof (operational files)
• Support in preparing the internal takeover of operations (monitoring and supervision tools (OEM, Centreon), development and documentation of incident and change management processes, escalation, organization, and the service catalog)
• Participation in the database operational reversibility activities with the managed service provider (Shadow and reverse shadow phases)

Following the reversibility, they will be in charge of the global operational management of the database perimeter

• Incident and change management
• Maintenance in Operational and Security Conditions (Patching)
• Contribution to the update and maintenance of the Database service catalog
• Reporting and global activity monitoring of their perimeter
• Compliance with information systems security standards and requirements
• Compliance with processes
• Creation and updating of operational documentation

In addition, they will participate in the technical integration support of databases for projects (BUILD)

• Definition of database architecture for application projects (supporting architects on technical specifications and requirements for sizing, availability, and performance)
• Support for the integration of databases for application solutions
• Development of database technical repositories (Detailed Technical Architecture Files, Operational Implementation Files)

Profile sought

• Expertise in Oracle Database (DBA), but also in SQLServer, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB technologies.
• Good interpersonal skills, autonomy, leadership, good communicator, ability to lead committees
• Writing skills (reports, presentations)
• Advanced English: Regular meetings to be held with IT departments of different sites
• SSI (information systems security),
