VACANCY: ENGLISH TEACHER – PRIMARY LEVEL

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pedagogy (indispensable).
• Hold Cambridge B2 First (FCE) certification or higher.
• Professional degree and license (título y cédula profesional).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a classroom teacher at the primary level (indispensable).
• Experience or knowledge in working with Cambridge system methodology and programs.
• Proficiency in digital tools, educational platforms, and Microsoft Office suite.

Functions

• Plan and teach English classes for primary level students, according to the Cambridge system.
• Develop communicative language skills: listening comprehension, oral expression, reading comprehension, and written expression.
• Prepare annual and monthly didactic plans according to expected learning outcomes and institutional objectives.
• Apply diagnostic evaluations and monitor students' academic progress.
• Design and implement didactic strategies that favor meaningful language learning.
• Perform curricular adaptations for students presenting barriers to learning and participation.
• Facilitate content comprehension and favor the progressive development of autonomous learning.
• Use Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) as support for the teaching-learning process.
• Foster a dynamic, participatory, and inclusive learning environment.
• Participate in academic meetings, training, and institutional activities.
• Comply with the institution's guidelines and policies.
