Coho Commissary Kitchens is looking for a *hands-on, organized, and people-oriented Assistant Manager* to help keep our two commissary kitchen locations running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a role that combines *operations, facilities, administration, problem-solving, and working directly with members*. You'll be an important part of the day-to-day experience at Coho, helping maintain safe, clean, organized, and well-run kitchen facilities. Working closely with the Commissary Operations Manager, you'll help ensure that our facilities, member spaces, records, and day-to-day operations are consistently maintained to a high standard.

*What You'll Do:*

  • Conduct regular walkthroughs and inspections of our kitchen facilities, workstations, storage areas, coolers/freezers, and common spaces.

  • Work with members to address routine operational and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate member information, station assignments, storage allocations, and other records in Optix.
  • Support member onboarding, changes, and offboarding.
  • Identify and follow up on maintenance, equipment, and facility issues.
  • Coordinate access for contractors and service providers and track outstanding repairs.
  • Maintain accurate operational, compliance, inspection, and maintenance records.
  • Conduct routine audits to ensure facility use and member records are accurate and up to date.
  • Respond to member questions and provide clear, professional communication and follow-up.
  • Identify issues that require management attention and ensure they are properly documented and escalated.
  • Prepare routine reports, checklists, notices, and administrative documentation.
  • Pitch in with other operational tasks as needed.

*What We're Looking For*

We're looking for someone who is *organized, dependable, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day operational details*.You will be a great fit if you:

  • Have strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Enjoy being active and hands-on rather than sitting at a desk all day.
  • Are comfortable inspecting spaces, identifying problems, and following issues through to resolution.
  • Communicate professionally and confidently with members, contractors, and service providers.
  • Can manage multiple priorities while keeping accurate records.
  • Are comfortable working independently and know when to ask for direction or escalate an issue.
  • Have experience in operations, hospitality, food service, facilities, property management, or a similar environment - an asset but not required.
  • Are comfortable learning and using computer systems and administrative software. Experience with Optix is an asset.

*Why Join Coho?*

This is a *varied, hands-on operations role* where no two days are exactly the same. You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of food businesses and play a key role in maintaining the facilities and member experience across both Coho commissary locations.
