As a racquets coach, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality tennis and padel programmes across our network of schools and academies. Working with players of all ages and abilities, you will inspire a lifelong love of racquet sports while supporting the development of technical skills, confidence, sportsmanship and overall wellbeing.
Key responsibilities
Deliver high-quality tennis and padel coaching sessions for students of varying ages and abilities across Cognita schools and Enrich ME programmes.
Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and progressive lessons that support the technical, tactical and physical development of players.
Coach students from beginner through to advanced and performance levels in both group and individual settings.
Support curriculum-based racquets programmes, after-school activities, academy sessions, camps and events.
Foster a positive, inclusive and motivating environment that promotes participation, confidence, sportsmanship and a lifelong enjoyment of sport.
Monitor and assess player progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents where appropriate.
Ensure all coaching activities are delivered in line with safeguarding, health and safety, and risk management requirements.
Maintain accurate attendance records and support programme administration as required.
Collaborate with colleagues, school staff and stakeholders to deliver a high-quality experience for students and families.
Support the continued growth and development of Enrich ME Racquets across the Cognita Schools network.
About you
Essential
Minimum 5 years' coaching and teaching experience.
Fully qualified tennis coach.
Experience coaching padel players of varying ages and abilities.
Experience delivering both group and individual lessons.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Passion for developing young players in a school and academy environment.
Ability to plan and deliver engaging coaching sessions.
Excellent written and spoken English.
Desirable
UAE-based coaching experience.
UAE driving licence.
Experience delivering coaching programmes within schools or extracurricular settings.
Experience coaching players from beginner through to performance level.
