Accounts Executive (Reporting)

Cogent owns one of Singapore's largest one-stop integrated logistics hub, Cogent 1.Logistics Hub. It offers warehousing, transportation, freight forwarding, container depot, ISO tank depot and automotive logistics services in Singapore.

Job Description

1. Assist in performing the full spectrum of Accounts Payable function
2. Verify and process invoice; issue cheque to make payment
3. Reconcile Accounts Payable transactions
4. Track expenses and process expenses reports
5. Post transactions to journals, ledges and other records
6. Assist with month end closing
7. Assist to execute and ensure strict compliance of Singapore financial reporting requirements which includes supporting local statutory audit, tax and GST for Cogent entities
8. Assist superior to ensure timely reporting required by Singapore and China headquarters
9. Assist superior in financial reporting i.e. financial reporting, variances analysis, budget & forecast etc.
10. Assist and support superior in Group Reporting Team, which includes completing both the Singapore and China reporting packs

Requirements:

1. Diploma / Degree in Accounting or equivalent
2. At least 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable
3. Knowledge in SAP is an added advantage
4. Able to multi-task
5. Good communication skills
